Oral Conscious Sedation
Delivered in pill form, oral conscious sedation works to ease your body and mind so that you can undergo more complex dental procedures. Taken before your appointment, it is designed to help you become more relaxed and comfortable while in the dentist’s chair, and you’re unlikely to remember much from your appointment. By opting for this method of sedation, you’ll receive the dental care you need without fear or anxiety.
Nitrous Oxide Sedation
If you or a loved one experiences only mild nervousness when preparing to visit the dentist, nitrous oxide may be the better solution. The effects come on quickly, allowing you to feel at ease so that we can begin to work on your teeth and gums. While relaxed, you may feel a bit warm and slightly euphoric. When finished, the effects will dissipate quickly, allowing you to leave on your own.
