The Skerl and Plucinsky families have known each other for over 4 generations.  While attending John Carroll University,  Dr. Lexi Plucinsky approached Dr. Skerl about shadowing as she was discerning her chosen career path.  Dr. Skerl, also a graduate of John Carroll University, mentored her through this time period.  He was impressed with her ambition and focus.  Later while participating in a summer internship in this office Dr. Skerl noted their philosophy on patient care was aligned and he invited her to join the practice.
